Blueberry Yum Yum
Time investment: 2/5
Effort: 3/5
Payoff: 4/5
Cleanup time: 4/5
Ingredients:
1 block cream cheese
1 container Cool Whip
1 can blueberry pie filling (or whatever you want)
Graham crackers
Preparation:
Into a large bowl, cream together the Cool Whip and cream cheese until smooth. Crush graham crackers by beating them in a bag with a rolling pin or putting them in the blender. Densely coat the bottom of an 8×8 inch pan with your crushed graham crackers. Spread a layer of ½ of the cream cheese mixture, entirely covering the graham cracker crust. Pour entire can of pie filling over the mixture, spreading it evenly across the pan. Use other ½ of the cream cheese mixture as an additional layer on top. Optionally, crush more graham crackers to dust on top.
Notes:
This is nice for the summer because you don't have to use the oven and it really easily impresses people who haven't experienced rural poverty. You can make this with stuff entirely from the Dollar General, so it was a staple dessert food in my home. Effort is ranked 3 to account for the fact that this can be created in 20 minutes as long as you bust your ass because you're about to be late for a picnic, but if you leave enough time it's really like a 1.5, probably.
Stuffed Mushrooms
Time investment: 3/5
Effort: 3/5
Payoff: 3.5/5
Cleanup time: 2/5
Ingredients:
Baby Bella mushrooms
1(ish) block of cream cheese
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Salt & pepper
Umami seasoning
Browned ground sausage
Shredded cheddar cheese
Shredded Parmesan cheese
Preparation:
Carefully cut out stems of Baby Bella mushrooms to leave the cap hollow. Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Save the stems and roughly dice into small pieces. On low-medium heat, combine mushroom stems, seasonings, Parmesan, cream cheese, and sausage, stirring until a creamy mixture is produced. Using a spoon, transfer the cream cheese mixture to the mushroom caps until they are full. There will likely be filling left over, it tastes good by itself so you should eat it. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and bake in your air fryer for ~8 minutes,
Notes:
I forgot to add the goddamn sausage to mine and it still tastes great, so you can make is vegetarian friendly if you want.

Pairs really well with gochujang sauce or a fried egg on top, but is great alone too. This was highly praised by my neighbor!
