Growing up, I absolutely loved dolls. This fact about me never changed as I got older, but the small collection of Monster High, Barbie, and Ever After High dolls I had collected over birthdays and Christmases were thrown away by my older sister in a fit of anger over nothing of importance. So for a long while, I had no dolls. My collection began again by finding a cute porcelain clown doll at a Goodwill and falling in love with it. Thus began my collection of thrifted porcelain dolls.
While I don’t currently own plastic dolls anymore, I would love to again someday soon. Many of the dolls I love the most are now considered collectors items and are too expensive for me to buy at this time. But I hope to thrift damaged or incomplete dolls to begin customizing them again. I hope to use this page to both display my own dolls, as well as show off ones I don’t own but admire, and various promotional materials of dolls that may not be well sourced or archived elsewhere.
