I actually watched Star Trek: The Next Generation for the first time when I was pretty young, because my uncle liked it. I would also watch it in passing on the big TV downstairs and fall asleep to it on the couch. But until recently, I hadn’t reengaged with the series in any meaningful way.
Earlier this year, my best friend and I decided to start rewatching it together–she’s a big fan of it–and immediately I began to remember why I was so fond of it in my youth. Everyone had such funny personalities, and there was always some weird-ass plotline going on in each episode. Especially to Riker, that poor man. But most notably, like every other autistic person to roam the Earth, I loved Data the most. I did even as a child too, I definitely had a crush on him growing up.
While I have the most familiarity with TNG, I’ve titled this page in honor of the series as a whole to open up the possibility of me watching and getting into the original series as well. In general, I am hoping to use this page to compile episode recommendation lists, house fanworks, and possibly offer my opinions on episodes and characters, if I so wish.
